The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing GitHub environments, implementing secure development practices, and automating workflows to support scalable and efficient software delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) environmentsImplement and maintain Git-based version control strategiesConfigure and manage RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection policiesDesign and develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML workflowsIntegrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Implement DevSecOps practices within development and deployment pipelinesUtilize GitHub Advanced Security features (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)Perform audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviewsDevelop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShellCollaborate with development teams to improve workflows and platform efficiencyDocument governance standards, best practices, and developer guidelinesLead technical enablement sessions and provide support to engineering teamsRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in Git-based version control administrationStrong experience with GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server)Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategiesHands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automationExperience integrating CI/CD pipelines with AWS or other cloud platformsStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with audit logging, compliance, and security practicesProven experience implementing DevSecOps principlesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)Knowledge of policy-as-code frameworksExperience documenting governance standards and technical guidelinesExperience leading training or technical enablement sessions
