Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our healthcare team. Duties Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and physical examinations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide ostomy care and support for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Maintain sterile processing protocols to ensure patient safety. Support patients with developmental disabilities by providing tailored nursing interventions. Document all patient interactions and care provided in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in nursing home settings or ophthalmology is preferred. Knowledge of occupational health standards and practices is a plus. Ability to provide care for toddlers and children when necessary. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
