For any staffing requirements, whether long-term, short-term, or permanent, payroll or project based, Excel Staffing is ready to assist.\nJOB TITLE: Electrical Assembler Level 2\nDEPARTMENT: Assembly\nREPORTS TO: Team Lead Electrical Assembly\nSUMMARY: Perform manual labor in a production environment; assembling parts of various product lines\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRead, interpret and follow wiring diagrams, unit drawings, schematics, P&IDs, Bills of Materials (BOM's) and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products\nPrepare product electrically for final testing, including testing, calibration, and troubleshooting\nAssemble components, devices and wiring per assembly drawings\nAbility to understand and troubleshoot wiring issues\nMounts, installs, attaches or performs similar operations with components or subassemblies into assemblies\nKnowledge in proper use of basic hand, air and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, cutting wheels, etc.)Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points\nAdjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics\nPerform complex layout and component mounting according to drawings under close supervision and in accordance with standard operating procedures.\nDrill and tap holes in specified locations to mount components on a specific assembly using hand and power toolsTerminate all electrical wiring according to wiring diagrams using the proper toolsAbility to learn to pack glands with Kopex\nConfer with supervisor and engineering to plan and review activities so issues regarding production, quality or procedural problems may be identified and resolved\nPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards\nPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work areaPerforms other related duties as assigned by management\nExperience with Amphenol cables, in our assembly process the team will be required to assemble cables that will connect with gas turbines and other auxiliary equipment. What I am looking for are individuals that can help with the pin insertion that is needed mate these cables together.\nExperience with wire/cable terminations with control panels and MCC/IO cabinets. This requires a high degree of attention to detail because wires must be stripped, wires must ferruled, and wires must be labeled to ensure overall job accuracy and accomplishment. Lastly, cables and wires must be routed in the panel/cabinet correctly.\nExperience with wire preparation and labeling, we would like the candidates to be proficient in wire preparation. Wire preparation, consists of inspecting the wire, stripping wire to the correct length, and having the correct ferrule installed.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTwo to four years of experience or related experience\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience\nAbility to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) including with fractions\nKeys to success for this opportunity:\nWiring 480V 3PH motors\nWiring of other motors (DC, etc.)\nWorking with multi-conductor cable, twisted pair and triad cable, and shielded cable\nWiring of various types of devices and instruments included, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, fire and gas equipment (sensors, detectors, aerosol canisters)\nWorking with Roxtecs and other multi-cable sealing solutions\nWiring of small and large control cabinets\nProperly strips and prepares end of conductor using ferrules, insulated and non-insulated terminals, and compression lugs using associated tooling.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nAttendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time;
