ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers.\nResponsibilities include:\nProvide engineering and Tactical Data Link (LINK 16, SADL) Support.\nSetup and operate equipment used to support the fielding and training of Tactical Data Links.\nOperate Tactical Radios to include all MIDS Family of Terminals.\nOperate Spectrum Analyzers, O'Scopes, Digital Volt Meters and other associated test and diagnostic equipment.\nConduct training for both military and civilian members on proper data link operations, COMSEC Key loading procedures, and data link troubleshooting procedures on ground-based systems.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:\nMust be a US Citizen\nTop Secret Clearance\n3+ Years experience in systems engineering including at least 3 years in a DoD environment\nBachelor’s degree in a related field\nMust have in-depth knowledge and experience with LINK-16, SADL and other Tactical Data Link systems and message protocols\nKnowledge of Flight Line Maintenance procedures and a working knowledge of both AC and DC electrical power and Radio Frequency characteristics required\nAble to elicit and interpret requirements and translate to technical specifications/system design following best practices and design patterns\nAble to communicate with management, technical staff and end users in a clear and professional manner\nExperience with engineering practices, techniques and standards\nExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present technical presentations\nAble to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff\nProven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently.\nMust be willing to travel to USAF and FMS locations globally\nMinimum 5+ years of experience in technical engineering\nAll positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
