This position assists the insulation lamination machine operator with lamination production, quality control, and safety to ensure products produced meet and/or exceed the standards of the customer's order. This role is vital to the success of our business, as they are ensuring that our customers' orders are correct and undamaged.\r\nEssential Job FunctionsProperly unwrap rolls of insulation and load them on the lamination machine\r\nPerform quality inspections by examining all products to verify conformance to company standards\r\nMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles, using hand trucks, forklifts, or clamps\r\nProperly unload and bag finished product rolls off the lamination machine\r\nAccurately count finished product to determine completion of production order\r\nPerform general house-keeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe work environment\r\nRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED is required\r\nMinimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing work environment\r\nPrior forklift experience is preferred\r\nProven track record of good attendance and being on time according to work schedule\r\nPhysical RequirementsThe work is performed in non-climate controlled environment with moderate noise level. This job frequently requires the employee to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; climb portable ladders to heights of up to 15 ft.; balance; stoop; kneel; push; pull; reach overhead; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
