In this role, you will be a part of the data team that is responsible for maintaining several internally-developed data migration tools. You will work closely with developers that have experience with these tools to learn, and ultimately own, aspects of those tools. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter that has a passion for learning and a history of working very closely with data.\n\nThis is a full-time position, on-site at our TST Arlington office with core business hours between 9am and 3pm, Monday-Friday.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nWork closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements and solutions to complex data needs\nProvide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms\nWork directly with engineers in the field to debug and troubleshoot production issues\nProvide occasional after-hours support for scheduled production deployments\nProvide Program and Product Managers with reliable time and effort estimates for technical deliverables\nProvide technical and functional guidance and support to other team members as needed\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering\nMinimum of 1 years of experience with Python\nMinimum of 3 years of experience working with data in relational databases\nExperience developing in a Unix environment\n\n Preferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, Bash scripting\nExperience working with agentic AI agents\nExperience with event-driven processing, message brokers, or real-time data architectures\nExperience using Git and Jira in a development workflow\nExperience with DevOps processes\nExperience creating data models in relational databases\nExperience working in an agile environment\nExperience with data migrations\nDoD 8570 Level II or Level III Certification; for example, Comptia Security + or CISSP\nTop Secret security clearance or ability to obtain\n\n#LI-MS1\n\nLooking for other great opportunities?
