This role is responsible for mid- to long-term capacity planning, network optimization, and scenario modeling, while ensuring alignment between strategic IBP plans and plant-level execution.The Supply Chain Planning Manager plays a critical role in driving cross-functional decision-making, balancing service, cost, and inventory, and enabling the organization to respond effectively to changing business conditions.ResponsibilitiesLead effective IBP Mid/Long-term Supply Plan for relevant Foods product lines:This Role Is Responsible For DeliveringRough-cut capacity plan: Accounting for the consensus demand forecast, inventory targets, production capacity and targeted lead timesNetwork Planning: Ensure rough-cut capacity plan best utilizes multiple nodes (mfg. plants) of capacity to maximize throughput, deliver top customer service and drive optimum financial results for SEE corporationEffective Scenario Modeling: Lead scenario modeling to evaluate business risks and opportunities (e.g., demand shifts, capacity constraints, network changes)Effective engagement with Operations: To determine capacity, identify gaps and develop/execute action plan to better balance plant outputAnalyze and resolve variance from cycle to cycle on both supply and demand side, driving continuous improvement with associated process ownersEffective Communication of supply and demand gaps in IBP: Implement governance processes to balance supply and demand with supporting analysis (risk, financial, service impact)Ensure External Supplier Alignment To IBP Supply/Demand PlanOversee supplier planning activities to ensure alignment with the IBP Master Supply PlanTranslate supply plans into clear procurement requirements, including purchase orders, supplier forecasts, and inventory targetsPartner with suppliers to confirm capacity, lead times, and material availability, proactively identifying risks to supply continuityConduct root cause analysis on supply disruptions and implement corrective actions with internal teams and suppliersDrive Supply Chain ExcellenceDeliver Inventory, Service Delivery, and Cost targetsAnalyze factors impacting key performance indicator (KPI) results and improvement opportunitiesCommunicate overall status and opportunities throughout multiple levels of the organization to ensure effective decision-making and timely actionPlanning And Inventory Strategies And ExecutionDevelop and implement effective strategies to optimize cost, service and output by application of:Planning strategies (M to O, M to S, A to O)Inventory strategies: plan for every part, segmentation, ABC analysis, lead-time and service regression analysisWork with Product Line Management and Commercial to set supply plan business priorities as needed (by Customer, by Product, by Market) in a supply constrained environmentActively Support Global Business And Supply Chain InitiativesSupport the development and implementation of key global initiatives as needed.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management or Bachelor of Business Administration required; Master of Business (Supply Chain, Accounting, Management) preferred.Professional Supply Chain certification in APICS, CPIM or CSCP preferred.Minimum 5 years’ experience as a highly proficient user in ERP (MPS/MRP), SAP preferred. Advanced planning (SAP ECC/APO, S4hana/IBP) strongly preferred.Strong leadership skills (3-5 years’ experience) with demonstrated ability at driving change management and large-scale process change throughout organization.The ability to influence others based on empirical evidence to support decision-making.Embrace ambiguity and demonstrated willingness to take calculated risks based on thoughtful cost/benefit analysis.Effective communication skills at multiple levels within an organization, including executive presentation skills.A successful candidate should have demonstrated experience applying Lean manufacturing concepts, black belt and/or the value stream mapping experience, inventory management strategies, root cause analysis.Travel up to 15%.Pay TransparencySalary Range: $93,000-$160,655The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
