Role OverviewWe are seeking a Client Delivery Lead / Advisory Director to serve as a pivotal leader in our government technology consulting practice. In this role, you will act as a trusted business advisor to public sector clients, lead multi-disciplinary consulting teams, and oversee the execution of complex system modernization, procurement, and change management initiatives. This is an emerging leadership role within the firm with a strong focus on relationship management, delivery excellence, and practice growth.Core ResponsibilitiesClient Delivery & Strategic OversightEnd-to-End Governance: Lead the end-to-end delivery of client projects, ensuring scope, budget, deliverables, and timelines are met with consulting-grade rigor.System Modernization: Provide program management and strategic guidance for legacy system replacements.Executive Advisory: Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable, non-technical insights for agency leadership and oversight boards.Engagement Economics: Take full responsibility for project risk mitigation, billing, fee collection, and overall engagement profitability.Team Leadership & Practice GrowthPeople Development: Set clear behavioral and performance expectations, managing resource allocation and mentoring consulting teams to drive career growth.Business Development: Cultivate long-term client relationships, identify new business opportunities, expand our practice portfolio, and lead strategic proposal (RFP) development.Experience & QualificationsPublic Sector Acumen: 10+ years of progressive professional experience in management consulting or program delivery, preferably with a minimum of 5 years directly supporting state or local government agencies.Procurement & OCM Frameworks: Proven expertise navigating public sector procurement cycles (RFx development/vendor selection) and implementing structured Organizational Change Management (OCM) programs.Platform & Modernization Exposure: Experience managing or supporting enterprise system modernization projects or migration to cloud-based platforms (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, Tyler Technologies, or similar SaaS/SOP architectures).Certifications: Active Project Management Institute PMP Certification and associated technical or change management credentials (e.g., Prosci, CISA, CISSP) are highly valued.Location: Atlanta, GAHow You’ll GrowIn addition to on-the-job training, you will also attend industry-specific training.
