As a valued member of our production team, you will be responsible for the general assembly of components in accordance with product specifications, engineering drawings, work orders, and quality procedures.\nResponsibilities:\nAssemble components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications to build, assemble, and test parts and finished goods that meet quality standards in an accurate and timely fashion.\nAccurately complete assembly checklists.\nMonitor stock bins in the work area and report stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).\nEnsure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.\nAdhere to the company Code of Conduct.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nBasic math skills.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nAbility to work effectively unsupervised.\nStrategic and creative thinking to analyze issues and create solutions.\nAbility to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in processes and procedures as needed.\nAbility to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs, and procedures.\nPhysical Demands:\nRegularly required to read, write, and communicate in English.\nStand and/or walk for 10 hours a day, with minimal breaks.\nLift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.\nVision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and the ability to observe small handwriting, labels, and components.\nAlways required to wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.\nRequired to wear hearing protection in designated areas.\nPosition requires on-site presence during scheduled shifts to perform daily duties and responsibilities.\nRequires daily face-to-face interaction and communication with employees on the production line and management.\nWork Environment:\nWork on the production shop floor that does not have controlled temperatures and will vary based on weather conditions.\nOccasionally exposed to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.\n\nBenefits\nPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
