Driver - Lowboy
The Lowboy Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating lowboy tractor trailers moving heavy construction equipment ranging from skids to large loaders, rollers, and pavers; as well as driving multi-axle highway equipment with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) in excess of 26,001 pounds for transporting construction materials. This position is ideal for someone who has experience moving construction equipment, and has a good working knowledge of current DOT regulations and permitting requirements.ResponsibilitiesDrives truck to transport material/equipment to and from specified destinations. Verifies the types of materials being hauled as well as their weightPositions blocks, tie roper, and other devices to secure load during transit.
