You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as a discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity award\n\nJob Summary:\n\nThe Process Engineering Supervisor will support sales, engineering, optimization and occasional commissioning of GEA Process systems. In addition to executing Senior Process Engineer responsibilities, the Supervisor provides expertise and technical guidance to team members, oversees day-to-day tasks to ensure that the team meets project deadlines, and acts as a mentor to team members. In this role the Process Engineering Supervisor will support the setting, execution and troubleshooting of processes, and designing and improving equipment configurations, process flows, systems and work processes along with adhering to customer & GEA standards, along with ensuring safety and environmental standards are followed. Location: Oakdale, MN\n\nSupervisor Responsibilities:\n\nOversight of Process Engineers to ensure the team meets project deadlines, completes tasks accordingly, sales project milestones, and goals.\nProvide expertise, guidance, training, and mentors team members and other support as appropriate to include but not limited to Process Engineer responsibilities, on-site commissioning, and pre-sales support.\nLead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication by setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback.\nHandles and supports topics for his / her team that may include but are not limited to employee relations, recruitment activities such as hiring, employer branding, & interviewing, performance & development, providing ongoing feedback to challenge and for growth, retention, and employee engagement.\nEnsures compliance with company policies\nCoordinate scheduling and planning of tasks for process engineer activities to align with capabilities, group priorities, maintain utilization, balanced workload and balanced travel schedules for all members\nManage relationships with partners/vendors and maintain open lines of communication with other department heads to ensure effective cross-department collaboration.\nAssess, and suggest improvements in existing processes, new initiatives, and workflows for increased efficiency, competitiveness, quality and performance, along with supporting implementation activities.\nResolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, staff disputes, and logistical challenges\nNurture a positive working environment and foster a culture of professional growth and development.\nProvide training resources to employees on safety matters and ensure proper use of protective equipment, emergency response, and adherence to overall safety protocols.\nPartner with Safety to investigate accidents or incidents to discover root cause/s to determine and implement actions for preventative measures\nOther Supervisor responsibilities as assigned\n\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities:\n\nParticipate in project phases from initial customer meetings through pre-award sales support, design reviews, support cost estimation, proposal generation, lessons learned and optimization.\nResponsible for ensuring adherence to industry design standards and optimization of designs to meet customer specifications.\nProvide technical and team support through troubleshooting to resolve customer concerns regarding equipment/system performance, along with troubleshooting in projects, service, and warranty work.\nMaintain accurate records of meetings, discussions, correspondence, and technical documents.\nDevelop and check others Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and heat and mass balances (4 eyes Design Review Principles).\nDevelop and check process equipment specification.\nSupport the team to develop general arrangement of plan and elevation view drawings.\nEvaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.\nComplete and review plant audits.\nSupport projects and sales opportunities in the development and sale of new opportunities providing expertise on technical knowledge.\nProviding process engineering labor estimates and schedule requirements for new opportunities and projects\nProvide pre-sale and post-sale support including site evaluations, pilot trials, presentations, and training.\nResponsible for setting process warranties and test procedures with support from manager/sales and other process engineer team members\nCoordinate and collaborate to minimize deficiencies, errors, and omissions in project technical document and specifications.\nDevelop relationships with key customers & GEA stakeholders for process design & operation considerations along with technology improvements and successful project execution.\nTechnically evaluate third-party supplier proposals and equipment selections.\nEnsure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry standards such as sanitary requirements, which includes HAZOP evaluations and meetings.\nOther duties as assigned\n\nTravel:\n\nAbility to travel approximately 25% to support various activities dependent on needs of sales and execution\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nDemonstration of positive leadership skills.\nMust possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nMust possess strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently.\nAble to be self-motivated, take initiative, be decisive, and have commercial / business acumen.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks for themselves and others.\nAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.\nProficient computer skills including proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nMust be able to maintain
