In this role, you will support the design, integration, testing, evaluation, and sustainment of Built-In Test (BIT) and Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) capabilities for Electronic Warfare systems and related test infrastructure. This position supports system engineering, software-based test and evaluation, reliability and maintainability analysis, troubleshooting, and technical documentation activities across the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle. The ideal candidate will help ensure BIT capabilities are effective, supportable, testable, and aligned to system requirements by analyzing system behavior, evaluating failures and false rejects, supporting developmental and operational test activities, and recommending corrective actions to improve system performance and maintainability. The role also supports documentation, root-cause analysis, FRACAS inputs, and technical assessments that improve readiness and reduce lifecycle risk. This role requires in-person support.\nSupport the design, development, integration, and evaluation of BIT/BITE functions for Electronic Warfare systems, subsystems, and test assets.\nAnalyze system requirements, hardware/software interfaces, and operational concepts to ensure BIT capability supports system performance, reliability, maintainability, and supportability objectives.\nSupport laboratory and field testing of systems and components, including troubleshooting, deficiency investigation, test execution, and review of test results.\nEvaluate BIT-detectable failure modes and support Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) activities, including assessment of failure indication to operators and maintainers.\nAnalyze BIT anomalies, failures, false rejection data, and maintenance/test data to identify trends, isolate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.\nSupport reliability growth testing, maintainability demonstrations, ESS, qualification testing, and PRAT activities involving functional testing and fault analysis.\nAssist with software and firmware test activities related to BIT implementation, including requirements traceability, test procedure development, IV&V support, regression analysis, and documentation of discrepancies.\nContribute to system integration efforts, including interface analysis, technical assessments, configuration changes, and review of ECPs for impact on performance and maintainability.\nPrepare and maintain technical work products such as test plans, procedures, reports, technical feedback, engineering recommendations, and other customer-required documentation.\nSupport logistics and design-interface assessments involving BIT/BITE, accessibility, maintainability, and overall supportability.\nCollaborate with Government engineers, OEMs, software developers, test teams, logisticians, and maintainers in secure laboratory and operational environments.\nDesired Education:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.\nDesired Experience:\n3+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, test engineering, software/hardware integration, BIT/BITE, diagnostics, or reliability and maintainability engineering.\nExperience supporting system-level test and evaluation, troubleshooting, and technical analysis of complex electronic or weapon-support systems.\nWorking knowledge of hardware/software integration, system interfaces, failure analysis, and verification methods.\nAbility to analyze technical data and translate findings into clear engineering recommendations and written documentation.\nFamiliarity with engineering documentation such as test plans, procedures, technical reports, discrepancy tracking, and configuration-controlled artifacts.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering and test teams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Built-In Test (BIT), Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), fault isolation, diagnostics, or health monitoring in military or mission systems.\nExperience with FMECA, FRACAS, reliability growth testing, ESS, maintainability demonstrations, or production acceptance testing.\nExperience with software-based test and evaluation, software/firmware verification, or automated test procedures.\nFamiliarity with Electronic Warfare systems, RF systems, or mission-system integration in secure environments.\nExperience reviewing maintenance data, false reject data, or fleet sustainment data to improve supportability and operational availability.\nExperience working with OEMs and Government stakeholders to resolve design, integration, or sustainment issues.\nEligibility to support higher-classification tasking, including TS/SCI, as required by assignment.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
