You are responsible for ensuring their timely and successful completion of pickup and delivery assignments. You are tasked with logging and maintaining a database of all driver daily hours for the Transportation Manager to review.\n\nDuties\n\nAssign ADC Fleet drivers to pick up outside vendor orders\n\nOrganize and dispatch customer deliveries through our ADC Fleet drivers\n\nEnsure timely and successful completion of deliveries\n\nWork in conjunction with ADC customer service representatives to optimize truckloads to our company branches\n\nOrganize and process all paperwork received from ADC Fleet drivers\n\nMonitor ADC Fleet drivers through Rand McNally GPS to ensure they are DOT compliant and demonstrating proper driving habits\n\nSchedule appropriate number of drivers for the next day's work assignments\n\nCommunicate with our Orange slab yard in regards to equipment needs\n\nAssist the Transportation Manager with miscellaneous tasks and duties as needed\n\nPromote a positive team environment within all departments and branches\n\nWork within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals, and directives\n\nAny other duties required of this position\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nCollege degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or High School diploma with 5 years' of experience in logistics and transportation\n\nProficient in Microsoft office programs and strong computer skills\n\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills\n\nStrong problem solving skills and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment\n\nClose attention to details and high level of accuracy\n\nExcellent attendance at current or previous employment\n\nDesire to work under pressure in a fast paced environment\n\nHighly organized and deadline oriented with strong leadership skills\n\nBedrosians is an Equal Opportunity Employer that promotes, for the health of its employees, a Drug-Free Workplace philosophy.
