This role will lead a small team of AP specialists, monitor workflows, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of AP processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met\nOversee invoice processing, purchase order matching, approval workflows, and payment runs\nReview and verify payment batches for accuracy and compliance with company policies\nResolve escalated vendor issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner\nMonitor AP aging reports and collaborate with management to prioritize payments\nEnsure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies\nSupport process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency gains\nAssist with month-end closing, including accruals and reconciliations related to AP\nProvide training and guidance to team members on systems, procedures, and best practices\nPrepare AP metrics, reports, and dashboards for leadership review\nAssist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred\n3+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role\nProficiency with ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills for working with both internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment\nWhat’s Offered:\nCompetitive pay and benefits\nOpportunity to lead and grow a team in a dynamic work environment\nChance to contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives\nEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO):\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce.
