They are responsible for the Management of the organization's financial controls and the preparation of financial reports for management and shareholders.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nSupport our global delivery model. This includes providing resources and guidance to indirect team members for client delivery\n\nProvide global support on processes and lead communications between BSO team and internal stakeholders\n\nProvide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.\n\nCoordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.\n\nCreate a positive customer experience by opening and maintaining constructive and reliable lines of communication. Review items being handled by junior team members. Coach and mentor as needed.\n\nPrepare periodic complex financial statements and approve audit and tax preparation documents.\n\nPoint of contact for the implementation and maintenance of the accounting and reporting systems, providing technical expertise.\n\nAssist executive management with the implementation of strategic department and corporate initiatives.\n\nReview and verify financial information including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prior to submittal to large and high-profile clients.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues and ensure internal and external customer requests are handled timely, accurately, and with a focus on customer service.\n\nMonitor financial performance and provide a forward-looking view and strategic advice to the executive management team.\n\nApply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.\n\nLead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.\n\nIdentify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.\n\nUnderstand and recognize the broader impact across the department.\n\nImprove and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n\nBachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.\n\nExperience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.\n\nAbility to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.\nLeadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.\nIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.\nExtensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.\nIntermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.\nCBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Controller position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Controller position is $140,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
