Banquet Prep Cook

Job Description We are looking for a Prep- Cook for banquets.The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.Primary Duties include but are not limited to the following:Set up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow executive chef's instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsRequirementsProven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industry's best practicesJob Type: Part-time
