Overview A hospital-based program in Paducah, KY is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum coverage. This is a high-paying, procedure-driven role with access to a dedicated heart OR and hybrid suite, supported by an experienced surgical team.️ Position: Physician Cardiothoracic SurgeryLocation: Paducah, KYPractice Setting: Hospital-Based Opportunity Highlights • 24-hour call shifts (7 AM 7 AM)• High compensation rates for call + callbacks• Average 1 2 surgical cases per day• Work in dedicated Heart OR + Hybrid OR• Support from First Assist (Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience)• EPIC EMR system• Adult & geriatric patient population Facility Details • Annual ER volume: 30,000• 1 Heart OR + 1 Hybrid OR• Strong infrastructure for cardiac and thoracic procedures• Efficient workflow with experienced ancillary staff Key Responsibilities • Perform adult cardiac surgery (required)• CABG (on-pump & off-pump) and arterial revascularization• Valve repair and replacement (including mitral valve)• Manage thoracic surgical cases (preferred)• Perform procedures such as:Thoracotomy, lung resections, pneumonectomyPericardial window, tracheostomyThoracic aneurysm repairBronchoscopy (flexible & rigid)• Provide call coverage with callback responsibilities• Work in hybrid OR/cath lab for structural heart support Candidate Requirements Board Certified REQUIREDBLS Certified REQUIREDKentucky License (or willing to obtain) PREFERREDImpella support (insertion/removal/bailout) REQUIREDStructural heart experience (Hybrid OR/Cath Lab) REQUIREDClean background REQUIREDNPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) REQUIREDReady for a high-paying cardiothoracic locum assignment?Send your CV and availability today limited coverage with strong compensation!
