You will be responsible in leading and supporting Continuous Improvement (CI) projects at the site level, using Six Sigma and Lean tools and methodologies. Your position is highly influential and will interface with Aspect Retail Logistics US employees at all levels and various functions across the business.\n\nYou know how to effectively utilize and coach lean, six sigma, engineering methodologies, tools, root cause analysis, and waste reduction in achieving process excellence and developing a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset across our organization.\n\nResponsibilities:\nIdentifies process gaps, analyze, recommends, and implements process improvement through effective facilitation and execution of projects using Project Management, Lean, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies\nWorks with business and site leadership to conduct diagnostics and assessments of critical site and business needs. Assists in the development of a thorough, effective, and timely CI plan to address the top business needs at sites.\nWorks with front-line team members and process owners in identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities\nDrive process improvement projects to achieve dramatic improvement in the key business metrics of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\nManager labor standards by analyzing work samples, workflow, methods of production, and operator techniques; assessing the techniques, staffing, and equipment utilized to determine production rates and capacities.\nProvide formal and informal training, coaching, mentoring to Aspect Retail Logistics site leadership and associates\nMust be able to translate concepts to local situations and help individuals and team progress in understanding and applying correct problem-solving methods for sustainable business improvements\nLead and supports continuous improvement projects using fundamentals of lean that lead to improved business results; perform audit compliance to lead plans to prevent from backsliding.\nProvide Project Management support during the implementation of CI projects/initiatives.\nDevelop presentations, reports, post-mortem, project close-out\nLead the gathering and statistical analysis of data to support the business make an informed decision.\nDesign and develop complex/automated data reporting and dashboard\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements:\n3+ years’ experience in leading Six Sigma projects in Supply Chain & Logistics\nDegree in Industrial Engineering or similar or Supply Chain Management\nLean and/ or Six Sigma certified and hands-on experience using expert level command of lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies\nPMP Certification preferred\nProven facilitation, negotiation, and influential skills and entrepreneurial approach\nPrior experience leading projects incorporating 5S, Kanban, Visual Management, and other Lean methodologies\nProven understanding of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement productivity, and throughput improvement\nExperience in advanced automation from a manufacturing perspective prefered\nExcellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)\nBuilds and manage effective project team\nWarehouse Engineering knowledge (proficiency with slotting, labor standards - time studies, DC layouts and optimization flow, KPIs/metrics, headcount rationalization and forecasting)\nAbility to work independently and as a member of a team\nFlexible and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment\nCapable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills\nSoftware expert (MS office, Smartsheets, Visio, Mapping analysis, AutoCAD, etc.)\nExpert in statistics and SQL database, etc.\nAbility to travel\n\nWork Environment\nFast-paced warehouse and production environment\nSome travel required, local and cross border US Citizenship is important due to travel requirements\n\nWHY JOIN US?\nWork in an environment where safety is our first priority\nThe opportunity to build a career with a growing company\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family\nLife and disability insurance\nWellness programs to support your family’s well-being\nA Retirement Savings Program with a company match\nCompany team wear allowance\nCompany sponsored social events\nCommunity volunteering\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to building and fostering a diverse workplace where people feel included and valued.
