Our customer’s framework continues to evolve. Evaluating, learning, and integrating new technologies will be a constant factor in this position. The responsibilities of this role include:\nServe as part of a scrum team,\nActively participate in Agile ceremonies\nDevelop high-quality software design and architecture\nIdentify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle\nDevelop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code\nPeer test application updates\nAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting\nReview and debug code\nPerform validation and verification testing\nCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products\nDocument development phases and monitor systems\nEnsure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies\nWork in Windows, Unix, and Linux environments\nWork in a SCIF environment\nRequirements:\nThe ideal candidate will have all of the following:\nFive (5) years of professional technical experience in the form of employment history\nExperience and strong desire to invent new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications\nAbility to communicate ideas to coders, teammates, and management\nExperience working as part of a team of developers, coders, testers, and CM specialists\nExperience with the military/DoD is a bonus, but not required\nExperience using an Agile development approach is beneficial\nFamiliarity with geospatial web-based map development is a bonus, but not required\nCompTIA Security+, equivalent or higher (such as CISSP), or willingness to obtain, highly desired\nBSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, (High School Diploma or Associates Degree acceptable for well-experienced candidates)\nCompTIA Security+, equivalent or higher (such as CISSP), or willingness to obtain within 90 days of the start date\nThe successful candidate will have (at least) 2 years of experience in ONE of the following:\nC/C++\nC#\n.NET\nJava\nPython\nAmazon Web Services\nPHP\nData Science (with coding experience)\nExperience with WPF libraries, data access libraries (such as MVC)\nContingent Work Eligibility Requirements\nU.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance\nClearance Level - Final Position Requirement\nActive Secret\nTravel Required: No\nPotential for Telework: Yes - One day every two weeks\n-\nAbout Us\nHere at Zekiah, our journey is about enhancing our warfighters’ superiority by developing and integrating forward-thinking communication and technology systems.
