This role will support the Converting Production Supervisor in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various pieces of production equipment. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you. This position works a 12 hour rotating shift and starts at $25.85 / hour.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nStart and monitor the operation of production equipment, including LGVs, Quads, palletizers, labelers, and stretch wrappers.\nTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary restarts, syncing, and cleaning of sensors.\nMonitor conveyor operations and ensure the smooth flow of finished goods.\nOperate touch screens to ensure the proper operation of equipment according to specifications.\nOpen and close work orders accurately for equipment setup and operation.\nPerform PC touch/E80 operations and troubleshooting. Gather detailed information on equipment issues and escalate help tickets through the on-site maintenance team and/or vendors such as E80 as needed.\nControl manual label creation and deletion in production.\nAssist with new item implementation accurately.\nFollow verbal and written instructions effectively.\nAssist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and meet schedules and quality requirements.\nMaintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules.\nParticipate in meetings and work groups to communicate issues, obtain approvals, and resolve problems.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\nJob Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).\nPrior experience preferred but not necessarily required in unique circumstances. Possess basic computer skills.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping/warehouse and inventory requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nMust demonstrate a dedicated commitment to safety.\nMust be willing and able to learn equipment operations.\nAble to work independently and in a team environment.\nHigh level of initiative and drive.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nCompany Benefits\nCompetitive salary\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) plan\nPaid time off\nOpportunities for growth and development\nWork Environment\n\nPersonal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas.
