JOB REQUIREMENTS: Discard or reject products, materials, or equipmentnot meeting specifications. Mark items with details, such as grade oracceptance-rejection status. Measure dimensions of products to verifyconformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such asrulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Notify supervisors or otherpersonnel of production problems. Inspect, test, or measure materials,products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications. Readblueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determinespecifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods,certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models. Inspect ortest raw materials, parts, or products to determine compliance withenvironmental standards. Check arriving materials to ensure that theymatch purchase orders, submitting discrepancy reports as necessary.Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materialswith color charts, templates, or samples to verify conformance tostandards. Compute usable amounts of items in shipments. Grade,classify, or sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or otherspecifications. Disassemble defective parts or components, such asinaccurate or worn gauges or measuring instruments. \*\*\*\*\* OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Manufacturing Experience a plus. Stand2/3 of day or more. Use hands to finger, handle or touch 2/3 of day ormore. Walk and talk or hear 1/3 to 2/3 of the day. Reach above shoulder,climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl up to 1/3 of the day. Lift up to 40lbs. continuously and repetitively. Close, color and ability to adjustfocus.
