{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"04c59a8136efd7402453d58d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/04c59a8136efd7402453d58d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/04c59a8136efd7402453d58d","title":"Sample Processing Coordinator","description":"Job Title: Sample Processing Coordinator\n\nLocation: Minneapolis, MN\n\nType: Contract\n\nCompensation: $23.00\n\nWork Model: Onsite\n\nHours: 40.0\n\nOverview\nThis position is responsible for executing excellence in sample processing and comminution techniques in a high-volume, fast-paced commercial lab.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nFollow preparation techniques for the processing of samples for lab testing, including the use of grinding mills and other comminution techniques (i.e., blenders, Magic Bullet grinders, liquid nitrogen)\n\nEnsure accurate labeling of sample cups with assigned unique identifiers\n\nRecord sample preparation techniques and delivery details into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software\n\nMaintain organizational structure of samples by accurately delivering and disposing of samples as necessary\n\nExecute submission requests through third party labs by logging samples and preparing them for shipment\n\nFollow all lab safety and quality requirements and procedures (i.e., PPE, GMP, OSHA, ISO)\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum of 2 years' experience in a lab setting and/or AS or BS in science-related field\n\nAbility to use multiple computer systems (LIMS, Microsoft Office)\n\nStrong attention to detail\n\nFast learner with natural curiosity and drive to learn\n\nProficient in multitasking and prioritization of tasks\n\nAble and willing to ask clarifying questions\n\nDemonstrates flexibility in daily tasks and changes in workload\n\nProfessional written and verbal communication skills\n\nStrives in a fast-paced, changing environment\n\nPossesses strong teamwork and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to work independently and in a collaborative team setting\n\nProactive mindset\n\nAble to lift 40 pounds\n\nAble to stand for 5-6 hours daily\n\nAble to complete various tasks while wearing required PPE (i.e., face shields, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, OSHA-approved safety glasses, laboratory coat, cryogenic gloves)\n\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and MountainLtd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
