This position is San\nFrancisco-based. Work includes:\n\nLearning how structural and nonstructural components behave in seismic events.\nLearning applicable building codes and standards\nPerforming linear and nonlinear structural analysis\nPreparing design calculations\nPreparing seismic evaluation reports\nPreparing construction drawings\nProviding construction administration support\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in civil/structural engineering\nEIT license\nUp to three years’ experience\nFamiliarity with prevalent seismic design methodologies and codes\nBasic knowledge of linear and nonlinear analysis methodologies and software, including\nETABS and SAP2000. PERFORM and OpenSeeS experience is a plus.\n\nExperience with coding related to analysis and design, including VBA and Python\nFamiliarity with Revit and AutoCAD\nProficiency in steel, concrete, and masonry design\nPossesses strong verbal and written communication skills\nDesire to learn and grow through ongoing education, training and mentoring\n\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\n\nForell | Elsesser offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package which includes\nmedical, dental, vision, 401 (k) plan and profit sharing.\n\nThe salary range for this position is $89,000 - $95,000 before bonuses, as eligible.
