This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with consultative problem-solving in a growth-focused environment.What You’ll Do As An Automation SpecialistIn this role, you’ll partner with customers and our sales team to deliver forward-thinking automation solutions.You’llCollaborate with the sales team to solve complex customer challenges through a consultative approachProvide technical sales support for Rockwell Automation Power products, including VFDs, MCCs, and Medium Voltage solutions, ensuring proper application, configuration, and customer value.Provides technical sales support and system sizing for Rockwell Automation Motion and mechatronics solutions, aligning product selection with customer performance and application requirements.Support and promote advanced automation technologies, including Rockwell Automation solutionsProvide technical guidance and education to customers to improve their operational successAssist customers in implementing solutions involving Industrial Controls.Support automation initiatives tied to Industrial IoT in manufacturing environmentsBuild strong customer relationships through professionalism and technical expertiseWhat Makes You a Great FitFunctional knowledge of Industrial ControlsFamiliarity with factory plant floors and industrial equipment preferredDegree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), or equivalentStrong written and verbal communication skillsGoal-oriented, self-motivated, and detail-drivenStrong critical thinking and problem-resolution skillsInterest in Industrial Automation Consultation involved in Industrial manufacturing settingsWhat To Expect In This RoleCollaborative work environment supporting both customers and internal sales teamsExposure to cutting-edge automation technologiesOpportunities for professional growth within a stable and expanding organizationTravel within the Central Indiana market as neededFull-time schedule, Monday–FridayWhy Kirby Risk?Founded in 1926, Kirby Risk is a trusted leader in electrical supply and manufacturing.
