Our projects span the range from simple PLC upgrades through full automation solutions featuring Allen Bradley, Siemens, AVEVA, Ignition, and custom software solutions. You will also work with the Business Development Management team and others to improve methods, tools, and processes to standardize (or systematize) and improve proposal and estimating development for the entire business unit.\nYou will:\nPrepare work to be estimated by reviewing requests for proposals (RFP), engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents.\nMeet with customers to review the technical scope and engineering requirements.\nDevelop estimates by identifying labor, material, travel expenses, and time requirements by studying RFPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents.\nCompute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.\nResolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.\nWork closely with E Tech engineers and project managers to refine estimates\nPresent prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.\nCreate proposal document by entering scope, deliverable, schedule, risk, and clarification information from the estimate into existing proposal template.\nPrepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.\nMaintain cost database by entering and backing up data.\nMaintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.\nWork remotely within EST and travel < 15%\nBe an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.\nYou have:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of Industrial Automation experience directly related to design, controls, programming, and electrical engineering\nExtensive experience using Company methods, tools, and processes specific to estimating and proposal management standards.\nExtensive Excel / Spreadsheet Experience\nMS Project Experience is a plus\nUnderstanding of ERP / Project Costing Systems and parametric estimation tools.\nDemonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings, specifications, technical documentation as well as RFP/RFQ documentation\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nA DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.\nBenefits & Perks:\n401k + match + prompt enrollment.
