Responds to incoming requests for IT support and resolves network, hardware, and software issues. We uphold these values upon a backbone of humility driven by a culture of safety, vulnerability, and purpose.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance PowerShell scripts and modules.\nUtilize version control systems to manage codebase.\nIntegrate and manipulate data from various sources, including REST APIs.\nApply deep knowledge of the Windows Operating System for script optimization and troubleshooting.\nRespond to IT support requests over the phone, via email and in person.\nDownload, install, and configure software to meet user requirements.\nMaintain IT documentation including network and user details as well as corrective actions.\nFix hardware issues including replacing equipment and peripherals.\nEnsure computer network’s optimal performance.\nEvaluate need for new and revised systems and identifying possible improvements.\nExpand skills to become a functional backup to the other team members as needed.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nIn-depth and current knowledge of computer programs and hardware.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and to coordinate assistance when appropriate.\nAbility to function well in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite.\nEducation, Certifications, and Experience:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar.\nAt least two years’ experience in an IT specialist or technician role.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and potentially kneel, crawl or bend to address hardware issues with equipment.\nTravel Expectations:\nExpected travel: NONE\nBlueForge Alliance provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
