Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nAbout The Role\nDuties include:\nPlanning, designing and developing cloud-based applications (AWS)\nManaging cloud environments in accordance with company and sponsor security guidelines\nDeploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle\nDesign, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems and solutions in accordance with best practices\nEmploying exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize and solve issues before they snowball into problems\nAssist sponsor with evaluating new cloud technologies as they become available in the enterprise\nCollaborate with other developers and engineers to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions\nConfigure and monitor Linux installations including standard Linux utilities and shell scripts\nCreate and configure secure cloud resources in AWS\nConfigure high-volume data flows using NiFi\nPerform custom data transformations from standard or proprietary formats to other formats (often based on JSON or XML)\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph required\nBachelor's degree + 5 years of experience, or master's degree + 3 years of experience\n4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree\nAt least two years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:\nCreating or Configuring AWS resources such as SNS, SQS, EC2, or S3, especially using CloudFormation or Terraform\nConfiguring or Troubleshooting Linux servers/instances in a production environment\nImplementing production software/scripts in a language such as Java, Python, Bash, C, or others\nConfiguring Network resources and incorporating Cybersecurity, including subnetting, routing, DNS, TLS, PKI infrastructure, SAML, OAuth or IPsec\nDetails\nTarget Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
