They bring strong technical expertise, proven program leadership skills, and a passion for delivering impactful energy-saving solutions.\n\nLocation: Our preferred candidate will live in Chicago, IL or the surrounding area.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nProgram Leadership and Strategy\nLead the implementation and ongoing management of high-value energy efficiency programs.\nDevelop annual program plans, budgets, goals, operational metrics, and market strategies.\nEvaluate program performance and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness, customer participation, and energy savings.\nManage the evolution of program offerings to ensure cost-effective delivery and achievement of client objectives.\nImplement innovative service delivery models that respond to changing market conditions and client needs.\nClient and Stakeholder Management\nServe as a trusted partner to utility clients and key stakeholders.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade allies, vendors, contractors, and industry partners.\nCollaborate across internal teams to ensure coordinated program delivery and achievement of performance goals.\nRepresent Slipstream at industry conferences, stakeholder meetings, and collaborative initiatives as appropriate.\nTechnical Program Management\nReview and evaluate projects and incentive applications.\nQuantify anticipated energy savings and assess project eligibility using technical analysis and industry best practices.\nCollaborate with customers, trade allies, engineering resources, and project teams to gather required project information.\nInvestigate emerging technologies and incorporate viable solutions into program offerings.\nSupport quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure accurate analysis and high-quality program delivery.\nContinuous Improvement and Business Development\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.\nAssist with responses to RFPs for new and existing clients.\nContribute to long-term program planning, evaluation, and market strategy development.\nProvide training and technical guidance to program participants and stakeholders as needed.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\n3 to 5 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency program management, project management, program budgeting, or related fields.\nExperience managing multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.\nStrong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.\nExperience with budget and contract management.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and client communications.\nAbility to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management systems such as Salesforce, energyOrbit, or similar platforms.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience leading large-scale C&I energy efficiency programs and/or new construction initiatives.\nTechnical knowledge of commercial building systems, energy-efficient technologies, high-performance building design, and applicable energy codes and standards.\nExperience managing multiple program delivery pathways, trade ally networks, engineering resources, budgets, and performance metrics.\nDemonstrated success in client management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.\nProven ability to successfully deliver program objectives in a dynamic and evolving market environment.\nExperience working with utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs and incentive offerings.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nPrimarily a sedentary role, with tasks typically performed while sitting or occasionally standing.\nAbility to operate a computer and standard office equipment.\nTasks demand visual focus for reading and working on screens.\nThis position frequently communicates via phone and video conferencing, with in-person interactions as applicable.\n\nWork Environment\n\nMostly remote position with the ability to work from home or another suitable location with reliable internet access.
