CDL B Driver

Gillmann Services, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Ready Mix driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles on construction sites, ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** - Safely transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. - Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. - Work closely with construction site personnel to ensure that materials and equipment are delivered to the correct locations and in a timely manner. - Perform other duties as required, including participating in concrete forming and finishing activities. **Qualifications:** - A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a minimum of CDL class B and a satisfactory driving record. - Proven experience operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles in a construction setting. - Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation. - Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment, and to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. - Experience with concrete forming and finishing processes, including installation and finishing techniques. - A commitment to safety and a willingness to work in a team environment. **Skills:** - Commercial driving experience - Commercial vehicle operation - Mechanical knowledge - Construction site experience - Heavy equipment operation - Construction site familiarity - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong physical stamina and lifting ability - Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces If you are interested in applying for this opprotunity, please submit a current resume and call our office at (540) 251-3024 to start the application process today!
