This role will be responsible for evaluating electrical systems, managing projects from concept through implementation, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards, and collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to deliver successful project outcomes.The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing environments, strong knowledge of industrial power distribution systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects while driving results in a fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate project feasibility, scope, schedules, and budgetsDevelop project scope of work documents, bid packages, and technical specificationsReview technical drawings and engineering documentation, providing feedback and recommendationsEvaluate electrical power systems and identify opportunities for improvementEnsure electrical systems and equipment comply with local, state, and national electrical and safety codesPartner with third-party safety compliance contractors to support project requirementsEvaluate power distribution systems, breaker sizing, amp draw, SCCR ratings, panel loading, and related electrical calculationsSpecify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment and manufacturing systemsCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, skilled trades, equipment manufacturers, and affiliate companies to meet project objectivesSupervise contractors in both greenfield and brownfield project environmentsCoordinate equipment installation and startup activitiesTrack project progress and develop countermeasures to mitigate delays and maintain schedulesSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems, equipment reliability, and facility infrastructureRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 3 years of project management experienceStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience developing bid specifications and negotiating with contractorsMinimum of 2 years of technical drawing review and interpretation experienceMinimum of 2 years of industrial power distribution and electrical system design experienceStrong understanding of electrical safety standards and code complianceExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting large manufacturing or automotive facilitiesKnowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other applicable electrical and safety standardsExperience with facility expansions, equipment installations, and capital projectsExperience coordinating contractors and third-party vendorsFamiliarity with industrial controls, automation systems, and manufacturing equipmentThis is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys leading projects, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting the successful implementation of manufacturing and facility improvements.Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) StatementReliance One, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
