FLEXRACK by Qcells has completed over 3.5 GW of solar racking installations in over 40 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and across the globe.\n\nSUMMARY\n\nThe Senior Process Engineer will be a member of our Production team. The Sr. Process Engineer will watch over the entire manufacturing process of tubing production and devise ways that improve the flow and efficiency of production. They ensure maximum efficiency of a company's manufacturing processes and analyze current production methods through observation, data collection and research. They support the equipment design and ensure safety and quality standards are met. They are called upon to identify areas that need improvement to maintain high levels of manufacturing efficiency and product quality in compliance with regulatory standards. This position reports to the Head of Manufacturing, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is located in North Jackson, OH and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 5%.\n\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nWork with global cross functional team to launch new rollforming mills.\nManage the commissioning of new equipment within the production facility.\nManage the budget, performance expectations and timeline for new equipment launch.\nMonitor the entire manufacturing process and lead all process improvement initiatives.\nRegular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position\nPerform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management\n\nResponsibilities\nCreate, maintain & update work instructions as required to produce quality product.\nProvide internal/external technical support for rolling processes including reviewing and resolving deviations, non-conformances.\nSupport Operations Leadership with data collection, reporting and training.\nWork closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other support functions to meet productivity and quality expectations.\nParticipate and contribute to the achievement of department goals including goal setting.\nFacilitate training sessions for all employees on the improvement methodologies, tools, policies, practices, and processes.\nIdentify and solve chronic/repetitive problems and failures as well as reduce process variation.\nAssist with the development of the Annual Action Plan, and the administration of established policies, practices, and procedures.\nPrepare and approve standards from CAPEX and improvement initiatives.\nImplement and coordinate CAPEX projects, and Annual Action Plan Improvement Projects\nContinuously monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to product specifications/requirements.\nEquipment troubleshooting and subsequent work order requests.\nIdentify and lead cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.\nPerform PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) studies.\nSupport staff and material schedules to meet customer requirements.\nRun studies and validations on the line as needed.\nDevelop, execute, analyze data, and write reports for validation activities.\nEnsure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.\nResolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.\nDevelop work plans for continuous improvement and report out to the manger each week.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree from four-year college or university in the field of Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or five years plus related experience and/or training;
