Manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance. Assists with the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning.\nPlanning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions.\nManaging the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.\nProviding management with information vital to the decision-making process.\nAssessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.\nEvaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed.\nDeveloping and monitoring business performance metrics.\nOverseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance.\nOversees the accounting staff and manages the day-to-day processes of that department.\nMonitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.\nEnsure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.\nAssist CFO with special projects as needed.\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nThe ideal candidate will embody the following characteristics and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:\nHonest, trustworthy and reliable.\nHardworking.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or another related field required.
