The incumbent will solve critical system availability, performance, and architecture challenges by providing advanced z/OS mainframe programming, complex software standardization, and cross-functional operational support.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Execute core system programming activities including configuration, installation, and maintenance via SMP/E, as well as vendor software integrations in a complex mainframe environment.• Perform Operating System upgrades and RSU maintenance utilizing z/OSMF Workflow alongside IODF and HCD skillsets for seamless device integration.• Architect, install, and configure highly complex z/OS environments and third-party ISV products while driving software standardization and new feature implementations.• Partner closely with storage management, performance tuning, capacity planning, security, and networking teams to optimize overall z/OS performance.• Design comprehensive project plans and roadmaps for system upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning while effectively communicating timelines to delivery teams and customers.BENEFITSMedical | Dental | Vision | 401(k)EEOC Compliance:We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.DISCLAIMERAI Usage Policy: Pacer Group uses AI to assist in screening applications.
