This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in development, feasibility, and planning who can lead projects from early strategy through implementation.\n\nThis position will play a key role in managing development advisory assignments, including public-private partnerships (P3's), feasibility studies, implementation planning, and real estate strategy, while also supporting institutions during the earliest stages of planning and decision-making.\n\nYou may come from a developer, institutional owner’s representative, or advisory background , and understand how to bridge vision with execution.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nLead planning and development advisory engagements for higher education clients\n\nManage feasibility studies, implementation strategies, and public-private partnership initiatives\n\nServe as a trusted advisor to institutional leadership throughout project planning and execution\n\nOversee market research, financial modeling, development analysis, and stakeholder engagement\n\nTranslate complex data into clear recommendations that clients can act on\n\nGuide project teams and coordinate internal and external contributors\n\nManage project scope, budgets, invoicing, and overall financial performance\n\nMaintain quality control and ensure client deliverables are thoughtful, accurate, and timely\n\nSupport business development through relationship building and new opportunity identification\n\nStrengthen internal tools, processes, and development methodologies across the practice\n\nBring ownership and accountability to each engagement\n\nHelp clients navigate ambiguity with confidence and structure\n\nBalance strategic thinking with practical execution\n\nMentor junior team members and elevate the quality of project work\n\nBuild trust through clear communication and sound judgment\n\nWhat We're Seeking\n\nFinance\n\nEconomics\n\nConstruction Management\n\nor related field\n(Master’s preferred)\n\n5+ years of experience in development, feasibility, real estate advisory, owner’s representation, or institutional planning\n\nStrong understanding of development economics, financial modeling, capital planning, and public-private partnerships\n\nExperience leading multiple projects simultaneously\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word\n\nStrong presentation and client communication skills\n\nDemonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilityCommitment to professionalism and client service excellence\n\nWillingness to travel as needed\n\nWhat Sets You Apart\nYou may be someone who has worked for:\n\nA development advisory firm\n\nAn owner’s representative firm\n\nYou understand how to move projects forward—not just analyze them. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data.
