This includes providing professional assessments and documentation of the resident's heath and assisting with management of the assigned unit, charge nurse and other nursing staff.Leading the unit with precision, crafting comprehensive written and verbal care assignments, and implementing advanced nursing procedures to consistently elevate resident care quality and safetySupervising and participating in the development and implementation of resident care plansDocumenting progress and making recommendations for revisions to care plansAssisting the DON/ADON with the co-ordination, management and monitoring of the review of nurse's notes to determine if the care plan is being followedSupervising staff in monitor each resident's psychological functions, fluid balance, elimination, electrolyte status, laboratory results, respiratory status, neurological status and nutritional status to detect deviations from normal and gage progressRounding with the physicianMaintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights and privacy are protected at all timeCompleting necessary documentation and teaching of residents for residents' admissions, transfers and discharge according to policy and proceduresQualificationsUnit Manager (RN) QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirementsHave a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of employmentThe ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnelDemonstrates exceptional discretion in safeguarding sensitive patient information, ensuring strict adherence to Corporate Compliance and HIPAA regulations with unwavering professionalismThe ability to adhere to professional code of ethicsNothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our employees and meeting our obligation to provide and maintain a facility that is free of known hazards.
