The above represents the standard Corporate Policy\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nEdit daily schedules, focusing on productivity, efficiency and practicality (for 175+ drivers daily)\n\nCommunicate effectively with other team members and tactfully handle difficult situations.\n\nDemonstrate sound judgment and reasoning when scheduling overtime, covering open route schedules and processing time off requests while following the location Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) guidelines and expectations.\n\nCollect, organize, and process Request for Time Off (RFTO) forms in accordance with company requirements and the CBA.\n\nCollect, organize, and process overtime request forms.\n\nProcess and collect vacation board driver bid lines.\n\nAssign Extra Board and Vacation Board drivers acting as Extra Board drivers according to seniority, operator submittals of forms, and available openings on posted schedule.\n\nMandate overtime according to company needs and in accordance with CBA requirements.\n\nPost daily and weekly schedules\n\nMeet deadlines for schedule posting requirements.\n\nAssist and inform operators with various company request forms.\n\nSuccessfully complete daily procedures with respect to nightly manifest production and report generation.\n\nFind and correct scheduling discrepancies and other errors.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent.\n\nKnowledge of Denver Metro area.\n\nComfortable learning and using several different computer programs and using different technology (e.g. computers, printers, copiers, etc.).\n\nMust be able to work flexible schedules as needed; possibly including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.\n\nApplicants must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.\n\nMust be comfortable working in a union environment. Understanding deadlines and union requirements is preferred, not required.\n\nApplicants must be at least 18 years of age.\n\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
