Continually adheres to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce quality products.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.\nLearn and follow all safety procedures related to the setup and operation of packaging equipment, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.\nAttend any OJT (on-the-job training) required for each individual type of equipment used as part of your job. This includes meeting the minimum required hours of use for that equipment and being signed off by your trainer and manager. OJT sign off is a must before you are cleared to use the equipment.\nAssemble equipment required to run a given product.\nMonitor machine operations to detect product defects and/or machine malfunctions.\nTest and evaluate product and verify product weight or measurement to ensure quality standards.\nCheck job PPS (Packaging Process Specification) for instructions.\nMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\nPerform various general maintenance duties, as instructed by supervisor or manager.\nSafety shoes (toe protection/slip resistant) and PPE must be worn at all times.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.\nBilingual in Spanish or French a plus.\nHave mechanical aptitude to operate basic hand tools and instruments.\nMinimum of two years of experience in same or associated field.\nGood communication skills required.\nMust be able to interpret/understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions.\nMust have pallet jack experience; forklift certification preferred (training will be provided)\nGood communication skills are required.\nMust be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.\nMust be able to work as a creative, flexible, innovative, and effective member of a team.\nMust be able to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.\nMust be able to read, write legibly, count accurately, and perform simple math.\nMust be punctual with good attendance.\nMust be able to lift to 30 lbs., additional weight with assistance.\nAddev Materials is the parent company of Andpak.
