You will work closely with the assembly and coatings departments to ensure all bondo touch-up work is thorough and accurate before passing the doors to the coatings department. This role involves hands-on work, including sanding, handling products, performing rework when necessary, and maintaining a clean work environment. Attention to detail, effective communication with your team, and a commitment to quality are essential.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate and maintain sanding equipment and tools with precision.\nEnsure that all surfaces are prepared to company standards before moving to the next production stage.\nThoroughly complete bondo touch-ups and other required surface preparations.\nMonitor the quality of work, making sure all tasks meet our high standards.\nMaintain a clean and organized workspace.\nCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure product quality and efficiency.\nPerform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.\nQualifications and Abilities:\nGood manual dexterity and ability to use power tools.\nKeen attention to detail, especially in sanding and surface preparation.\nAbility to lift 90 lbs and work in various conditions, including outdoors and on ladders.\nKnowledge or experience with sanding, paint products, and finish work is beneficial.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nCulture Expectations:\nConsistently meet production schedules and complete work orders on time.\nOpen to receiving and acting on constructive criticism.\nMaintain a positive attitude and a commitment to safety.\nPunctuality and reliability are key.\nWhy Work for Vidor:\nAt Vidor, we value our employees as much as our craftsmanship.
