As an Occupational Therapist, you'll collaborate with dedicated staff across two to three campuses, supporting students' unique needs and helping them thrive both educationally and personally. This contract position is part-time, offering 20 hours per week over two to three days, allowing for flexibility that fits your schedule.What you bring:Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field from an accredited programCurrent Illinois state license as an Occupational Therapist and registration with the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR)At least three years of recent school-based OT experienceStrong ability to work with K-8th grade students and effectively address a wide range of occupational therapy needs within educational settingsSkilled communicator who thrives in collaborative, multi-campus environmentsConfidence in managing a part-time role overseeing multiple locationsKey responsibilities:Evaluate and provide direct therapy to students per their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and monitor student progressCollaborate with teaching staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' goals and success in the classroomAccurately maintain documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as requiredTravel between two to three campuses within the North Chicago/Waukegan area to provide services where neededIf you're ready to use your expertise to equip students for greater independence and academic achievement, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference—while enjoying the flexibility and variety of a part-time schedule.
