Data Engineer

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Data Engineer - Fontana, CA (Onsite) for a contract opportunity.Please Note: Due to client contractual requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration.5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related technical roles.Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark.Strong expertise in SQL and Python.Experience building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations.Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including hybrid cloud architectures.Knowledge of Bronze, Silver, and Gold (Medallion) data architecture.Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, CSV, APIs).Strong understanding of API integrations, data ingestion frameworks, and Databricks Notebooks.Ability to optimize Spark workloads for performance, scalability, and reliability.Experience supporting cloud-based analytics, reporting, and enterprise data platforms.Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), telematics data, operational analytics, and KPI reporting is preferred.Experience with Revenova, Samsara, and logistics/transportation industry datasets is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity/access management is preferred.If interested, please send your resume to harsh@phtstaffing.com
