The successful candidate will assist with engineering analysis, technical documentation, design support, project coordination, and engineering evaluations across multiple engineering disciplines.\nThe Junior Engineer will work closely with government personnel, engineers, scientists, manufacturing personnel, and project teams to support engineering efforts throughout the project lifecycle.\nThis role is critical to supporting engineering innovation, technical excellence, and successful project execution through technical support, problem-solving, and engineering analysis.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSupport engineering projects involving research, development, manufacturing, testing, and technical program execution.\nAssist with engineering analysis, design support, technical evaluations, and engineering problem-solving activities.\nSupport development and maintenance of technical documentation, engineering reports, specifications, and engineering data packages.\nAssist with engineering studies, technical investigations, and project support activities.\nParticipate in engineering reviews, design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning efforts.\nSupport testing, evaluation, validation, and verification activities for engineering projects and systems.\nAssist with data collection, technical analysis, and preparation of engineering recommendations.\nSupport engineering change activities, technical assessments, and modernization initiatives.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project objectives and customer requirements.\nAssist with preparation and maintenance of technical data packages (TDPs), drawings, procedures, and engineering records.\nSupport compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.\nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts and engineering process enhancement initiatives.\nCoordinate with government personnel, contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational objectives.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nActive U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline\nMinimum 1 year of relevant engineering experience\nKnowledge of engineering principles, technical problem-solving methodologies, and engineering processes\nAbility to analyze technical information and develop recommendations\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting Department of Defense programs or facilities\nExperience supporting engineering, manufacturing, testing, or technical projects\nFamiliarity with technical data packages (TDPs), engineering documentation, and technical reporting\nExperience supporting engineering analysis, testing, or design activities\nExperience supporting research, development, or modernization initiatives\nExperience working within industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, or production environments\nExperience supporting energetics, ammunition, explosives, or defense-related programs\nAbout Altus\nSince 2004, Altus Technology Solutions has been committed to providing top-quality, performance-driven services to both government and commercial clients.
