The ideal applicant will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with CNC machinery, and a commitment to quality and safety.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to accurately set up machining equipment.\n* Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, grinders, and other manufacturing tools with precision.\n* Program and troubleshoot CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) and CNC programming techniques.\n* Perform tooling setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.\n* Conduct quality control inspections utilizing measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments.\n* Maintain compliance with safety standards by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety protocols.\n* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.\n* Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications for accurate fabrication.\n* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques for assembly or minor modifications as needed.\n* Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and waste reduction opportunities.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* Proven experience operating CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.\n* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.\n* Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).\n* Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and measurement techniques for quality control.\n* Familiarity with welding processes such as MIG welding is preferred.\n* Experience with fabrication tools including grinders, hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup.\n* Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and proper PPE use.\n* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments.\n* Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management is advantageous.\n* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.\n\nIf you are motivated by precision craftsmanship and continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing setting, we encourage you to apply today.
