Opportunities to assist America’s veterans are available within Loyal Source Clinics throughout the United States.\n\nPay Rate: $101,504.00 - $119,504.00 / year\n\nPosition Highlights:\n\nPerforms age-appropriate audiology assessments and examinations for Military Veterans and qualified family members. Each assessment/examination is a minimum of 30 minutes\nIdentifies, tests, diagnoses, and manages disorders of human hearing, balance, and tinnitus\nDetermines range, nature and degree of hearing function related to patient’s aural communication needs using electro-acoustic instrumentation, such as pure tone and speech audiometers and acoustic middle ear equipment\nMaintains accurate patient records noting appropriate background information, responses and progress.\nProvides written reports and progress notes\nIdentifies differential diagnosis\n\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nComplete diagnostic hearing evaluations on adult age populations, for purposes of Veteran’s disability exams.\nInput Audiometric data into DBQ format, within 24 hours of exam, for disability rating purposes\nProvide a full medical record review with medical opinion noted in rationale when warranted\nMaintain a flexible working schedule in order to accommodate fluctuations in referral volumes, helping the company meet goals and objectives\nMeets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nMaster’s degree in Audiology accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA\nMinimum of 1 year of experience\nBLS certification from AHA, ARC, ASHI or willingness to obtain\nFull, active, unencumbered Audiology license in the US\n\nAdditional Qualifications:\n\nFluency in EMR systems & technology\nExperience with Disability Benefits Questionaries with Veterans\nHolds certificate of clinical competence-Audiology by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association\n\nAudiology Exam Details\n\n*Basic otoscopy\n*Tympanometry\n*Acoustic reflexes\n*Speech audiometry- via recording\n*Pure tone audiometry\n*Air + bone conduction\n*Stenger testing\n*Wax removal-rarely\n*No OAE's (oto-acoustic space emissions)\n\nAbout Loyal Source\n\nLoyal Source provides healthcare and technology solutions designed to improve outcomes and support mission-critical operations.
