The Computer Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, facilities instruments, components, systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. This dynamic individual will lead the execution of complex tasks, apply and integrate engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. for the c-UAS programs.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop electrical systems and components for defense applications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.\nConduct thorough analysis and testing of electrical systems to verify performance, reliability, and safety.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.\nProvide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to final implementation and deployment.\nTroubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges related to electrical systems and components.\nStay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and techniques and incorporate relevant innovations into project designs.\nDesired Experience:\n3 three Years of Experience in Computer Engineering or equivalent\nExperience with Embedded computing (FPGA Hardware Description Language experience, digital logic experience)\nProgramming (e.g., C, Python, LabVIEW, visual basic)\nInterfacing with hardware (USB, serial, etc.)\nExperience in design, verification, and testing\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft office (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nEffective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work in a team environment.\nBachelor’s level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.\nCameo / sysML / model-based systems engineering experience.\nDesired Education\nBachelor’s level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.\nCompTIA A+ (Plus) certification and/or CompTIA Network+ (Plus) certification or training classes to achieve these certifications.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
