Title: Planning Manager Location: Georgetown/Taylor TXDuration: Perm/Direct HireCompensation: $90k-$100kWork Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.Skillset / Experience:Planning Manager - Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The Planning Manager is responsible for leading production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management to support efficient manufacturing operations. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and material availability while driving on-time delivery and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage production planning and scheduling activities to meet customer demand and delivery commitmentsDevelop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales, customers, and supply chain teamsEnsure optimal inventory levels by balancing supply, demand, and production constraintsCoordinate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material readiness and production flowMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and forecast accuracyIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages and capacity constraintsDrive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, systems, and data accuracyOversee the use and optimization of ERP/MRP systems for planning and reportingLead, mentor, and develop a team of planners and analystsPrepare and present reports and insights to senior leadershipQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations, preferably in electronics manufacturing2-3+ years of leadership or management experienceStrong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)Proven experience in demand planning, inventory control, and production schedulingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesPreferred Skills:Experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environmentsAPICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalentKnowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesAdvanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis toolsWork Environment:Office and manufacturing setting with frequent cross-functional interactionMay require extended hours during peak production cyclesOccasional travel may be required depending on business needs About INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
