Their main responsibilities include accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all transactions run smoothly and every customer is satisfied with the service.\n\nThe cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to delight our customers and provide them with an outstanding experience.\n\nA qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.\n\nResponsibilities of a Cashier:\n\nGreeting customers when entering and leaving the premises\n\nManaging transactions using a cash register\n\nBalancing the cash register\n\nScanning goods and making sure pricing and quantities are accurate\n\nAccepting payments in cash, credit or check\n\nProviding change and receipts\n\nIssuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cards\n\nProcessing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints\n\nBagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport\n\nUpselling and cross-selling when appropriate\n\nCashier Job Requirements:\n\nMust have at least a high school degree\n\nExperience with POS systems and cash registers\n\nBasic computer knowledge\n\nGood math skills\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nAbility to effectively resolve complaints\n\nEvery day, across the globe, the DQ system serves up an experience that makes our customers feel at home.
