Your job is to discover and build Glean's next generation of product surfaces, working directly with the C-suite of the world's most influential companies and with Glean's own executive team.\r\nGlean is a fully horizontal AI platform - and that scope is what makes this role unique. You won't be configuring existing products or optimizing within defined constraints. You'll identify the biggest unsolved business problems at our most strategic customers, build entirely new products to solve them, and in doing so shape what Glean becomes. You get founder-level ownership with Glean's resources, relationships, and scale behind you.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nDiscover and build Glean's next product surfaces: Your primary job is 0-to-1 product creation. You'll identify where Glean's platform can be extended to solve problems no product currently solves, design the solution, and ship it - working in a pod with forward deployed engineers to move from ambiguous customer problem to product in production.\r\nLead deep opportunity discovery: Before you design anything, you go deep on the business. What's structurally broken? What does the leadership team actually lose sleep over? Where is the biggest concentration of unsolved value? You'll form a strong point of view before you ever open a design tool, and pressure-test it directly with the executives who have to live with the outcome\r\nTrusted C-suite Advisor: You'll earn trust at the highest levels of your customer organizations - not as a vendor, but as the person who understands their business well enough to build for it. You've built products from scratch that others have used. You can point to something that didn't exist before you showed up.\r\nDeep technical fluency. You can shape the product vision and architectures, work directly with engineers on building & implementation, and make credible design decisions. You've shipped AI-powered solutions in the real world, not just designed them.\r\nBusiness acumen. You lead discovery with a point of view, not a list of questions. You can identify where there is opportunity in a business and connect that to a product hypothesis quickly.\r\nExecutive credibility. You define the problem as often as you solve it, and you're energized by that.\r\nNice to Have\r\n\r\nExperience as a founder, a top-tier consulting firm or in product at a high-growth technology company.\r\nA technical degree in CS, engineering, math, or a related field.\r\nDeep familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and evaluation frameworks.\r\nExperience driving technology adoption inside large enterprises.\r\n\r\n \r\nLocation\r\n\r\nThis role is hyrbid (3-4 days a week in one of our SF Bay Area offices)\r\nThis role will require travel 25-50% of the time\r\n\r\n \r\nCompensation & Benefits:\r\n \r\nThe standard compensation range for this position is $170,000-$280,000 annually plus equity. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
