The role supports the software engineering lifecycle following the Software Development Plan (SDP), including requirements analysis, code & unit testing, integration testing, requirements verification, and support for formal test delivery.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nSupport the software engineering lifecycle as described above, work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to the verification and validation of software against defined requirements.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nProficient in Python and C++.\r\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary, team-based groups.\r\nActive Interim Secret Clearance; eligible for Final Secret Clearance.\r\nBachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline from an accredited university.\r\nDesired Skills\r\nProficient in Perl.\r\nExperience across the full software life-cycle (design, architecture, development, integration, test, qualification).\r\nFamiliarity with embedded software/hardware (hands-on or academic).\r\nWorking knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security scanning).\r\nComfortable in Agile development environments.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\nProven ability to test and verify software against defined requirements.\r\nSecurity Clearance\r\nPosition requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and will need an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting. The position is located at a facility that requires special access.\r\nPosition Details\r\nLocation: Onsite full-time at a Lockheed Martin facility.\r\nShift: First.\r\nRelocation: Possible.\r\nCompensation and Benefits\r\nAnnual base salary ranges from $93,200 to $164,450 in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC. Salary is determined by work location and candidate qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
