These factors include (but are not limited to) the position, associated responsibilities, work experience, education, related training, and related skills.\n\nPosition Location: Langley AFB, VA (On-Site)\n\nTelework/Work-from-Home Authorized:\nYes – Only When Authorized for Extenuating Circumstances\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAssist in the scheduling of CAF forces IAW the AFFORGEN Model for worldwide contingency operations through the GFM and AEF construct and provide appropriate support to the scheduling teams to ensure continuity and long-range planning expertise.\n\nConduct studies to support scheduling the AEF for various contingency and operational training events, align AEF units to most effectively support contingencies, exercises, training events, and other aerial events.\nMaintain appropriate databases and use the Consolidated Planning Schedule (CPS) to schedule units against validated requirements. Using CPS, align forces IAW AFFORGEN to support Combatant Commanders and contingency operations worldwide.\nAssess combatant command operational plans (OPLANs) and conceptual plans (CONPLANs) for risks and recommend changes and sourcing solutions.\nSupport Air Force (AF) units that accomplish training and exercise control to Air Operations Centers (AOCs).\nAssist with the development of the schedule using the HHQ Scheduling Construct and inter-MAJCOM agreements and coordinate it throughout the CAF Scheduling Integrated Product Team (SIPT) for approval.\nAssist with the preparation of staff packages defining CAF scheduling issues and provide options as well as proposed courses of action to ACC leadership for their approval.\nAssist with the preparation of and present briefings pertaining to the CAF exercise schedule, CAF alignment and AFFORGEN schedule.\nConduct analysis utilizing internet scheduling tools (e.g. Defense Readiness Reporting System [DRRS], and Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager [JCRM], Logbook) and other software to more efficiently align AF aviation units in support of contingencies, exercises and training events.\nAdvise ACC/A3O on how best to program, manage and schedule CAF forces to include fighter, bomber, C2ISR aircraft, and CSAR forces in support of deployment and employment in contingency operations, such as Operation SPARTAN SHIELD, Operation NOBLE EAGLE (ONE), the Global Response Force and the NATO Response Force.\nAssist with the review, and revision of Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP), Global Force Management Implementation Guidance (GFMIG), Assignment Forces for Tables, Execution Orders (EXORDS), Quarterly Apportionment Tables and Directed Readiness Tables.\nUsing CPS, advise ACC/A3O on how best to plan, schedule, and coordinate CAF aircraft for short-notice contingency events, command level training events and Joint/MAJCOM level exercises.\nAssist with the coordination of operational issues with the Joint Staff, Air Staff, United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), Air Reserve Component (ARC) and Air National Guard (ANG) staffs.\nProvide CAF scheduling expertise to the ACC/A3O representative on the ACC Contingency Action Team (CAT).
