This role requires a deep understanding of Clojure and its associated libraries, along with expertise in AWS and CI/CD practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain applications using Clojure and related libraries.Utilize Pathom for efficient data processing and API interactions.Deploy and manage applications using AWS Cloud Services Kit (CSK).Monitor application performance and reliability using Datadog.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.Use AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for infrastructure as code to manage and deploy AWS resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.Ensure scalability, security, and optimal performance of applications.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.Requirements:Proficient in Clojure programming language and its libraries.Hands-on experience with Pathom for data processing and API interactions.Proficiency in using Datadog for application monitoring and performance tuning.5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Clojure.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience coordinating with onshore stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements.Ability to align offshore teams with requirements and deliverables.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with unit tests ensuring code coverage of more than 80%.Motivate and manage teams, ensuring client coordination, meeting timelines, conducting proper code reviews, and following processes.
